Circle IT engaged with the University to understand the needs and outcomes the University wished to achieve to deliver their digital strategy and provided the cutting the edge solution to meet these needs and cater for future growth and cloud scalability.
The money raised was used to install an outdoor gym area at the Cardiff school to benefit the pupils in a number of ways. Read more here. The 300+ guests at the Circle IT Charity Ball were entertained by Presenter Gethin Jones, Comedian Kev Orkian and East 17 to end the night!
In April, Circle IT’s Jennifer Griffiths was named Best HR Professional in IT & Technology at the 2018 Wales HR Awards.
Head of Sales and Marketing, Martyn John, headed to Austin, Texas in June for DattoCon18. Martyn was delighted to head to the stage to accept the prestigious worldwide award after being named Autotask International Partner of the Year at the partner conference.
CEO Roger Harry, Head of Sales and Marketing Martyn John and Principal Infrastructure Architect Gavin Forrest took on the IRONMAN Wales challenge in September. All three completed the course in under 14 hours, achieving their goal. The trio also raised an incredible amount for Princes Gate Trust.
Another sporting win - Circle IT were delighted to finish the Dell EMC Management Challenge in first place, having entered the challenge for a 4th year. This was a great achievement for the team.
Willow’s High School and Cardiff High School were among the local schools who benefited from Circle IT’s new scheme of repurposing IT equipment such as laptops and servers from corporate customers who upgrade their IT estate regularly.
Early November saw our team head to Barcelona for DattoCon18 where Circle IT were named in the Hall of Fame for Business Management. This was Circle IT’s second Golden Datto award of 2018.
In November, Circle IT’s People Team (HR) won two awards! The team were proud and delighted to collect the GOLD award for Best HR in a SME and the SILVER award for Best In-House Team.
We ended the year on a high, delighted to share our amazing results. Our financial year end was the strongest to date - with turnover, for the first time, reaching £15 million and an increase of nearly 40% in revenue growth.
