Kaseya, the leading global provider of automated IT systems management software, has today announced that HRC Cube, an education-focused IT service provider, and Circle IT, a leading provider of IT support and consultancy, have selected its IT Systems Management Platform as their solution of choice for education customers. The agreement has already seen the solution rolled out to Capel Manor College and Milton Keynes College.
The deals with Milton Keynes College and Capel Manor College see Circle IT delivering the Kaseya IT Systems Management Platform as a remote managed service – with the colleges having 2,500 and 500 nodes respectively, and more than 3,000 endpoints together. IT staff at both colleges have been empowered with the Kaseya remote management and remediation tools, along with features such as hard drive imaging and deployment, backup and anti-virus. The implementations themselves were carried out quickly and on time, with no impact on teaching. Prior to this, experts from Circle IT provided tailored consultation to the colleges, identifying their IT pain points and advising how best to alleviate them.
Circle IT is a Kaseya reseller partner and a member of Kaseya’s Partner Advisory Council, an important platform from which Kaseya partners can provide feedback and input on current, as well as future, solutions on a quarterly basis. Members are selected on the strength of their expertise, knowledge and understanding of Kaseya’s market, as well as their technical skill in delivering Kaseya’s solutions to their own target market. In a deal that sees Circle IT partnering with education specialist HRC Cube, the two companies will work closely to meet the unique challenges of schools and other educational institutions across the country.
"At a time when IT demands are growing, yet budgets can be tight, it is critical that educational institutions work as efficiently as possible," said Roger Harry, managing director at Circle IT. "By partnering with a company like Kaseya, that can provide a truly powerful solution, and a unique business in HRC Cube that has tremendous industry-specific expertise and understanding – we believe we are in a strong position to meet the needs of educational institutions. We are delighted with the successful deployments at Capel Manor College and Milton Keynes College, and look forward to adding to these initial projects."
"We are thrilled to be working with companies that really understand our unique challenges and were able deliver an effective solution quickly," said Dr Daniel Hidlebaugh, director of ILT at Milton Keynes College. "With HRC Cube and Circle IT, we analysed our helpdesk systems to assess where time was being absorbed. Once the Kaseya platform was in place to address the targeted areas for automation, we had the means to free up our IT staff’s time to allow them to carry out more strategic work, such as identifying how to enhance teaching through IT. Our IT department has been transformed from a reactive unit chasing equipment around campus to fix or update it, to being a more proactive and impactful influence on education."
With the Kaseya IT Systems Management Platform, IT professionals can offer extended service capabilities with better service delivery. Furthermore, with optional configurations, maximum scalability and multiple domain capabilities, IT departments or service providers of all sizes can experience the rewards of IT automation.
"The agreement between Circle IT and HRC Cube, as well as the deployments at Milton Keynes College and Capel Manor College, underline simplicity of use and the potential of the Kaseya platform to deliver real benefits in the education sector," said Koby Amedume, EMEA marketing director at Kaseya. "This announcement strengthens our position in an important sector and we look forward to seeing this part of the business grow with new customers in the coming months."
