Based at our Customer site, Cardiff and Vale College, our Desktop Support Technicians are responsible for supporting our customer's needs and the daily management of our proactive and reactive monitoring software. This will include tasks such as call logging and troubleshooting issues and resolving support queries or diagnosing issues where possible. This will be done by responding to both calls, emails and face to face enquiries.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focussed IT professional with knowledge of networks, communication and service infrastructure technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line technical support and customer service to users at our Customer site in Birmingham. This is a customer-facing role and you will manage and mentor a small team of 1st line technicians.
