 IT Services Team Leader / Manager

IT Services Team Leader / Manager

We are looking for a customer-focused IT professional who ideally has a team leader or management experience, however, we are willing to train the right person to develop these skills. Ideally, you will need knowledge of networks, communication and service infrastructure technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line technical support to users at our Customer site in Birmingham. This is a customer-facing role and you will manage and mentor a small team of 1st line technicians.

Service Desk Analyst

Our Service Desk Analysts are responsible for supporting our customer needs and the daily management of our monitoring software. This includes tasks such as call logging, troubleshooting and where possible resolving support queries or diagnosing the issues.  Other responsibilities include allocating unresolved calls to our helpdesk and providing backup first line support to all our customers. This is achieved by responding to inbound telephone calls, emails and service requests. The Service Desk Analyst will also deal with any internal desktop repairs at Circle IT and assist internal employees with Circle IT’s internal systems.

Out of hours work and travel to and from/working at customer sites (nationally) for extended periods may be required on occasion to meet business needs.

Based at our Customer site, our 1st line support engineers are responsible for supporting our customer's needs and the daily management of our proactive and reactive monitoring software. This will include tasks such as call logging and troubleshooting issues and resolving support queries or diagnosing issues where possible. This will be done by responding to both calls, emails and face to face enquiries.

2nd Line Support Engineer

Based at our Customer site, our 2nd line support engineers are responsible for supporting our customers IT needs and the daily management of our monitoring toolsets. They will act as an escalation point for our 1st line engineers, whilst assisting them with the general support queries by way of responding to both calls, emails and face to face enquiries during busy periods.
