Senior HR Advisor (12 month fixed term contract)

Location: Cardiff

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative Human Resources Professional to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover) as a Senior HR Advisor. 

The ideal candidate will be a HR generalist, with demonstrable recruitment process and HR operational experience, that is used to working in a fast paced working environment and able to work/develop positive relationships with stakeholders of all levels (internal and external).  

The successful candidate will be working in an environment where people and company culture is truly valued, and given the opportunity to develop their knowledge in HR operational areas like recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, performance management, talent management and employer brand/marketing. Owning and managing the company’s recruitment function forms a key part of this role as does managing and assisting with HR related projects.

Salary: £27-£30k, dependent on experience

Qualifications, experience and Skills required

  • Experience of working in a HR Generalist/HR Operational role within a fast paced business environment, with demonstrable recruitment process experience and having to handle robust conversations, employee relations
  • Experience of advising/consultingas part of a current previous HR role 
  • Computer literate and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office software and online systems Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Demonstrable experience of building positive and strong working relationships,  rapport with stakeholders of all levels (Director/Employee)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
  • An eye for detail and strong analytical skills
  • Passionate about Human Resources
  • Approach- Passionate, proactive, dynamic, enthusiastic, confident, agile/flexible, creative
  • A can do, make things happen approach
  • Passionate about Human Resources as a function
  • Eager to learn and develop and to share knowledge with others
