Solicitors – Talk to the experts

lawCircle IT has added a twentieth law firm to its professional client list, providing them with complete outsourced support along with high security management and disaster recovery services.

The Cardiff Gate-based company is experiencing steady growth in the professional services market - managing totally outsourced IT or providing back-up for in-house staff at a time when threats of data theft or malicious damage are increasing.

The latest law firm to sign up is Everett Tomlin Lloyd & Pratt Solicitors. With more than 40 members of staff in Newport, Pontypool and Cwmbran, the company wished to ensure its IT systems and data were fully protected against potential threats.

Everett Tomlin practice manager John Waldron explained: "The IT world is changing rapidly and in our line of work we need to make sure we are 100 per cent protected against potential threats that could affect our organisation and our clients. Circle IT has undertaken a full audit of the existing systems we have in place and has taken the necessary measures to increase our IT support management.

"We are now confident in the knowledge that we have taken the necessary steps to protect our business well into the future."

Circle IT’s managing director Roger Harry said: "We have been building our client base steadily in England and Wales – and are pleased to have agreed a contract with our twentieth law firm. Criminals and malicious hackers are becoming ever more sophisticated and it is vitally important that legal data is very well protected. But is a risk faced by all businesses, which need to ensure that they have robust systems to minimise risks, and to enable them to cope should the worst happen.

"The high quality service we provide is cost-effective and tailored to each client, so that our solutions meet specific business and industry requirements."

Founded in 2001 Circle IT was founded by Roger Harry and Alun Emanuel. It has quickly become one of Wales’s largest major independent IT services. It is working across the legal sector with clients including DWF, Hugh James and Harding Evans.
