Katie joined us in 2015 and has held a number of roles within the organisation. She has worked hard to introduce a performance management system into the business, designed to give employees feedback and to improve their overall skills and capabilities.
A brief description of my role entails ensuring we provide an excellent quality of service to our entire customer base to maintain our Service Level agreements. As well as providing the 1st line team with coaching and mentoring for ongoing development within their roles to meet customer expectations. I also provide Service Delivery Management to a small number of our customer base, which includes, managing, measuring and maintaining Service Desk efficiencies.
What made you join Circle IT?
I’d worked for my previous employer for 15 years and needed a fresh challenge. Circle IT seemed like a perfect fit for me, a fast paced, agile company where I could grow as a person and develop my skills in a totally different environment to what I was used to.
Tell us something that you love about your job?
I love working with such a passionate bunch of people. Watching individuals grow and develop and knowing I had a hand in that is really rewarding.
What is your proudest accomplishment at Circle IT/Career to date?
Winning Employee of the Year sticks in my mind but if I had to think of something more recent, it would be the amount of positive feedback the Service Desk has had recently from our customers. It shows we’re doing something right!
What motivates you to do a great job?
That’s a simple one, praise. Everyone likes a bit of praise, right?
What would you sing at a Karaoke night?
4 Non Blondes - What’s Going On. It’s my favourite song ever!
What makes you laugh the most?
Our dog Rita! She must be the dullest dog on the planet.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I haven’t got a favourite meal, I’ll eat anything to be honest. I do love chips mind...
What’s your biggest passion in life?
I like to travel, but don’t do it half as much as I’d like to.
