The University of South Wales has appointed Circle IT to undertake a major Digital transformation IT project for the University to deliver their cloud first strategy with an end to end Microsoft and Dell EMC solution based around the latest cutting edge technologies from the 2 major vendors.

Circle IT engaged with the University to understand the needs and outcomes the University wished to achieve to deliver their digital strategy and provided the cutting the edge solution to meet these needs and cater for future growth and cloud scalability.

University of South Wales Head of IT Infrastructure, Tony Evans said “We are delighted to be working with Circle IT on what is a major project for the University. We’ve been engaging with Circle IT for about a year and were really impressed with the quality of their proposed solution. It’s clear from working with the team that they are highly experienced within the education sector and we were really impressed with the wider engagement that Circle IT have in the South Wales community”.

Circle IT’s CEO Roger Harry said “We are thrilled to have won the project to deliver the cloud first digital strategy at the University of South Wales. We have huge experience in the education sector throughout the UK, but we’re very proud of our Welsh heritage and it’s great to win business and continue to develop relationships with educators right on our doorstep”.

The project will see the University migrate away from VMware to a Microsoft Hyper-V environment and includes the implementation of an identity management solution, using Microsoft Identity Manager and Microsoft SCCM and OMS for system performance and analytics.
