Meet Imogen, Graduate Internal Sales Representative at Circle IT

Imogen Danks has joined Circle IT as a Graduate Internal Sales Representative and will be joining the Sales and Marketing Team at Circle IT HQ in Cardiff in September. Imogen is currently spending some time with the team while training for the Graduate Role, before setting off to China to complete the 'Seeds for the Future' work placement with Huawei and will then be returning to the UK to join us full time.

Here's what Imogen has to say about her time spent training with the team:

Imogen Danks | Circle IT

As my first industry job straight out of university, I was really scared to start, however everyone in the office was friendly and relaxed, which helped me settle in. During the week, I spent time with each department to really understand the values and processes within Circle IT; I was in and out of Sales, Marketing and Strategy meetings too, which were enjoyable and allowed me to learn from more experienced team members.

I had so much fun getting to grips with all the products that we handle and learning about our partners such as Dell EMC through presentations and meetings. My first week has been full on, but I’ve enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store for me here at Circle IT.

Let's find out more about Imogen

What are you most looking forward to at Circle IT?

Working in a professional environment, and building my career in the IT industry.

What were you doing prior to joining Circle IT?

I was studying BSc Computer Science at Cardiff University – I graduate next week!!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to scuba dive! I’ll take any chance to get in the water... I also love to play musical instruments; flute, piano, saxophone and drums to name a few!

Where is the one place you would like to visit in the world?

Jellyfish Lake in the Philippines to (you guessed it…) go diving with jellyfish! (these ones don’t sting).

Who is your hero or heroine?

This is a difficult one… Alan Turing or My Grandad.

What item would you send into room 101 and why?

Anything Spicy!

Everyone at Circle IT are wishing Imogen Good Luck on her Graduation next week and we hope you have a brilliant day!
