An Investment of more than £60,000 in Storage Area Network (SAN) has allowed Circle IT to provide Disaster Recovery and online backup services for clients. The Dell-based system provides enterprise storage levels which Circle IT has made available to clients.

Key to any hosted solution is the connectivity behind it and Circle IT has invested heavily in lines from BT (dedicated 1:1 20mb leased line) and Mistral. Additionally Circle IT also has a 100mb leased line across the city to our internet service provider, where we have a second SAN where all data from the head office is replicated. This ensures that our clients’ data is held in multiple locations – for easy recovery should any type of disaster occur.
